Setting up your public baker profile

Updated May 1, 2025·4 min read

Your public baker profile is your storefront on the directory and your order portal. A complete profile builds trust before a customer ever messages you.

Profile basics

Under Settings → Baker Profile, add your bakery story, service area, and lead times. Be honest about how far in advance customers should order.

Upload a cover photo and logo. Write a short tagline that describes your specialty — wedding cakes, custom cookies, or vegan baking.

Add menu items with starting prices so customers know your range before inquiring. Link recipes from your Bakekick library for accurate costing.

Publish your cancellation, deposit, and allergen policies. Clear policies reduce back-and-forth and set professional boundaries.

  • Delivery radius and pickup instructions.
  • Accepted payment methods.
  • Cottage food license info if required in your state.
